(a) These rules shall regulate the use of CD-ROM library by Members of Rajya Sabha.
(b) All requisitions for the issue of CD-ROMs shall be submitted to the Executive Officer, Computer Cell, on the prescribed form.
(c) Not more than one CD-ROM (or one set) shall be entered on each form.
(d) Ordinarily not more than one CD-ROM (or one set) shall be issued at a time to an individual.
(e) The CD-ROMs will be issued for a period of seven days from the date of issue.
(f) A CD-ROM may be reissued provided no other requisition to that CD is pending.
(g) If a CD-ROM is damaged or lost the replacement cost thereof will be recovered from the salary of the borrower.
Note: Members can fill in requisition for titles in the requisition form available with Computer Cell, Parliament House Annexe (room no. 213) and Notice Office. The CD-ROMs will be issued by Computer Cell and should be returned there after use.
