Sc.); Congress (I) (Arunachal Pradesh); son of late Shri Rinyo Yonggam and late Shrimati Yabin Yonggam (Gadi); born at Yonggam Village, West Siang Distt., Arunachal Pradesh, March 1, 1946; educated at (i) Government Primary School, Yomcha, West Siang Distt., (ii) Government Higher Secondary School, Along, West Siang Distt., (iii) St. Anthony's College, Shillong, (iv) Kirori Mal College, Delhi and (v) Guwahati University, Assam; married Shrimati Nilima Bori, October 25, 1968; 2 son and 2 daughter

Agriculturist and politician; participated in Inter- district school tournaments held at Ziro in 1957 and at Tezu in 1959; passed NCC "B" Certificate, Senior Division (Artillery) from St. Anthony's College in 1962-63; (i) Part- time Staff Artist News Reader in NEFA Unit (now Arunachal unit) in Akashvani, New Delhi, 1963--66, (ii) Senior Teacher at Govt. H.S. School, East Siang Distt., Mebo, 1960--70 and (iii) Assistant Manager in Doom Dooma Tea Co.
