(Gujarat); son of Shri Mohansinh Mangrola and Shrimati Jeevi Ben Mangrola; born : at Dharoli, April 1, 1954; educated at (i) Sri Rang Navchaitany Vidya Mandir and (ii) Valia Shri Rang Navyug Commerce College, Surat; married to : Shrimati Jyotsana Ben, May 17, 1974; 1 son and 2 daughter

Agriculturist and Social Worker; involved in helping the needy with basic amenities, health care education through camps and welfare of aged; Chairman, Adivasi Society; Secretary General, Sitaram Seva Trust, valia; Secretary, Jalaram Seva Trust, Luna; Member, Committee on Food, Civil Supplies and Public Distribution; elected to the Rajya Sabha with the highest number of votes in the history of Gujarat Assembly, in April, 1994.

Clubs: Member, (i) Volleyball Association and (ii) Cricket Association.

Travels abroad: Malaysia to attend World Education Conference, Singapore and Thailand.

Publications: Contributes articles to journals and newspapers in Gujarati.
