B.A., LL.B., LL.M., D.B.M.; Congress (I) (Maharashtra); daughter of Shri Premi Moolji Kenia and Shrimati Kesarben Kenia; born : at Bombay, January 13, 1951; educated at (i) C.V.O.D. Jain High School, (ii) St. Xavier's College, (iii) Government Law College, Department of Law, Bombay University and (iv) St. Xavier's Institute of Management; married to : Shri Abhinandan Jain, March, 1992.

Advocate; Director, Punjab Fibres Ltd.; President, All India Aerobics Association, New Delhi; previously associated with Janata Party and Shiv Sena; was Minister of State for Education, Technical Education, Law and Employment Exchange from March, 1986 to June, 1988 in Maharashtra; was Chair- person, (i) of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation, Maharashtra in 1985-86 and (ii) Humlog Foundation, Bombay; Board Advisor, NRI Foundation India, New Delhi; Member, (i) Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, (ii) Internal Trade Committee of Indian Merchants' Chamber and (iii) Committee on Industry; elected to the Rajya Sabha in April, 1990.
