AMBEDKAR, SHRI PRAKASH YASHWANT: B.A., LL.B.; Nominated; son of Shri Yashwant Bhimrao Ambedkar and Shrimati Meera Yashwant Ambedkar; born : at Bombay, May 10, 1954; educated at (i) St. Stanislaius High School and (ii) Siddarth College; married to : Shrimati Anjali Maydeo, November 27, 1993.

Advocate; leading a movement of landless farmers from 1982 in the State of Maharashtra; associated with Bharatiya Republican Paksh; Leader, Bhaheyan Maha Sangh; Member, (i) Committee on Rules and (ii) Committee on Communications; nominated to the Rajya Sabha on September 18, 1990.

Special interest: Working for the upliftment of Nomadic Tribe and Criminal Tribe.

Travels abroad: Japan, England and Thailand.
