Accomplishment in arts and science : Interested in folk art of India.

Publications : Published books (i) Sandeshrasau Ka Bhasha Baijnanik Adhyayan, (ii) Prem Chand aur Markswadi alochna, (iii) Adhunikta aur uttaradhunikta and (iv) Aaie Bangla Sikhe; Hindi translation of works of Bengali writer Narendra Nath; Bengali translation of works of Bhism Sahni, Hindi writer; edited two books of Prem Chand and Vidyasagar, working Editor, Hindi Quarterly Journal "Samya".

Special interest : Teaching, specially working for literacy for all.

Favourite pastime and recreation : Listening to music and reading literature of different languages, translating fiction from Bengali to Hindi and vice-versa and writing Poetry.
