Narayanan during his visit to United Kingdom, May 21-27, 1993; Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, 1993-96, assisted the Prime Minister as Minister of State in the (a) Departments of Atomic Energy, Space, (b) Ministry of Science & Technology since February, 1993 and December 1993, respectively till 1996 and (c) Department of J&K Affairs; elected to the Rajya Sabha in April, 1982, re-elected in April, 1988 and again in April, 1994.
